WHAT IS thee?
Traditional Home Education Experts (THEE) has partnered with Elk Island Catholic Schools (EICS) to help administer the home education program of EICS, which is a willing non-resident home education board. The designation of EICS as a willing non-resident home education board means that home education parents from all over Alberta may choose to register through THEE. We welcome and serve homeschooling families from a host of differing backgrounds, beliefs, methods, and goals, and THEE supports homeschooling students from grade K to 12.
Services
THEE consists of a team who is familiar, experienced, and actively supportive of home education. Our support personnel include:
“I love how there is no pressure, and our facilitator has been wonderful. Any and all of my questions are always answered right away. Purchase orders were very easy also.”
“The staff are fantastic! They make the sign up process, education choices and process, reimbursement process, and everything in-between easy and headache free! The best decision we made for educating our 3 kids!”
“Words cannot express how sincerely grateful we are for the patience, care, and professionalism you have shown our family over the last 10 years of homeschooling. Our youngest child is now done, and every effort you put into every day, both big and small, has made our homeschooling experience a wonderful one.”
—
“The sign up process was very easy and simple. Also, the videos on your “Virtual Open House” web page were very informative.”
—
“I really loved our first meeting with our facilitator. She put me completely at ease that this was the best choice for us.”
“…and once again, you are a fountain of info, thanks for your patience!”
“I just would like to use this opportunity and say, “Thank you!”, for all the info THEE has given us, especially during high-school. And also a huge, “Thank you!”, for all the work you did for our family…Keep up the good work!”
“Thank you for your input. You’re the first person I think of when I need advice for [my son]. I am glad we have you [as our facilitator]. We sure do appreciate you!”
“I loved you guys while I traditionally home schooled, there was no better place to home school!”
“Thanks for taking the ‘sting’ out of all the stress of working out how to pull what we’ve been doing into something we can formulate that the post secondaries can understand in their own language. I’ve gone from frantic/overwhelmed…to we can do this and it might even be fairly painless, in under two months. Thanks again for all your time, your knowledge and the vast range of fires you’ve been able to put out for me. I can’t tell you how nice it is to feel supported and encouraged in this particular stage of our daughter’s education.”
—
“On another note, I would like to let you know how much I appreciate your attentiveness to our high school questions, concerns and issues. You have gone above and beyond to help us. Thank you so very much for everything you have done. I am truly grateful.”
