What it does provide

The new support system is designed and purposed to provide consulting and training to the home educating parent to equip the parent with ideas and strategies for helping his/her child. The focus is on equipping and enabling the parent (or legal guardian) of the home educating child to be able to employ new strategies and/or techniques related to the child’s unique learning needs.  The training and equipping are focused on the following categories:

Behavioral Health                Occupational Therapy
Learning Skills                      Regulation & Attention
Mental Health                       Speech Language Pathology
Motor Skills

What it does not provide

The new support system does not directly provide in-person/onsite-with-a-specialist or ongoing support to the child.

Who provides the training and equipping?
