Course Description: Love to write? Would you like to spark creativity, receive appreciation, or get feedback? This course encourages you to write what you love, points out what you’re already doing well, and provides suggestions on how to improve your writing. You’ll explore the genre(s) you enjoy, in the way that you wish. To complete the course, you’ll develop 5 polished pieces. Creative writing only… No essays allowed!

How the Tutoring/Course Works

  • You’ll complete the “Creative_Writing_Questionnaire” and then email it back to me.
  • I’ll email to you an assignment (tailored to your tastes and needs).
  • You’ll then write and then submit via email a first draft to me.
  • I’ll email to you appreciation/feedback on your first draft.
  • You’ll then submit via email an improved draft to me.
  • To complete the course, you’ll develop 5 polished pieces. Creative writing only.

If you want to join “Write On!”, then you will need to contact Mrs. Dextraze and talk with her about your interest in this writing opportunity. Also, please complete the “Get to Know You Questionnaire” by first downloading Creative_Writing_Questionnaire. When you contact Mrs. Dextraze by email, please attach your completed questionnaire to your email message.
