We want to be your board for home education!
Traditional Home Education Experts (thee) partners with Elk Island Catholic Schools (EICS) to provide all of the required administrative and educational supports for traditional home educating families who live anywhere in Alberta. We are based in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, and our mission is to support and enrich the educational efforts of families who are exercising their God-given responsibility to educate their children for life and eternity, from kindergarten to grade 12 (K-12).
We have been serving families throughout Alberta and beyond since 1992. Our home education program enables parents to homeschool their child or children with us regardless of where they live here in Alberta.
While our home education program is part of a Christian school board, we welcome and serve families from a host of differing faith (and non-faith) backgrounds. Learn More…
THEE provides individual academic counselling and suggestions for learning resources to each home educating parent to support them in their expressed purposes and goals for home educating. THEE will never prescribe or require a particular instructional method or set of school resources; the parents are always in control of their program.
We desire to encourage our families to pursue and achieve their personal, academic, and family goals by actively supporting and advocating for traditional home education.
